This is a 2000 model year with Fusion 640MT that I am currently selling as a “needs repair” machine, since B axis (the turret) is not unclamping. The clamp/unclamp solenoid is functioning, and the servo motor is trying to rotate the turret, but something is physically not releasing, causing it to overload and alarm out after about .040” of encoder movement. This unclamping issue is something that appeared after the machine was down with a main spindle drive that intermittently wouldn’t wake up and a sub spindle movement issue. The main spindle drive was rebuilt by PES in Jan. 2024, and a brand new junior servo drive for the sub spindle Z2 axis was also installed at that time, as well as having the subspindle servo motor gone through by PES while we were already having them do the main spindle drive, so those original two issues were resolved.
This is a 6-axis machine with sub spindle and an unusual 80 tool magazine (most Integrex 200 have a 40 tool magazine). It was also equipped with and could accept a gantry robot, but I do not have that. A handful of tool holders go with it.
The reason for us having this 6 axis machine has ceased to exist, and we are better served by using the floorspace it occupies for a pair of smaller 3 or 4 axis machines to make simple parts faster.
As can be seen in the images and video, the turret upper cover is currently removed, but that didn’t reveal any obvious clues to the issue; it’s going to be deeper than just sheet metal covers, probably at least partial turret disassembly.
Buyer is responsible for coordinating loading & transport, but we are very flexible on being available to facilitate that.
